Preview: East Lee County Jaguars vs. Evangelical Christian Sentinels
The East Lee County Jaguars are on the road again on Friday and play against the Evangelical Christian Sentinels at 3:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-26, which was the final score in East Lee County's tilt against Fort Myers on Monday. While losing is never fun, East Lee County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 561st, while Fort Myers is ranked 274th).
Meanwhile, Evangelical Christian entered their tilt with Bonita Springs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Evangelical Christian walked away with a 69-58 win over Bonita Springs on Monday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
East Lee County has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Evangelical Christian, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
