Soccer Game Preview: Paris vs. Pleasant Grove

Paris is 1-9 against Pleasant Grove since March of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Paris Wildcats will host the Pleasant Grove Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Paris is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Pleasant Grove will be up against a hot Paris squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went Paris' way against Community on Tuesday as Paris made off with a 6-2 win. Considering the Wildcats have won three matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Community with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lynna Martin (2), Caroline Gillem (2), Elizabeth Harper, and Isabel Gibson.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Royse City. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by exactly two goals.

Pleasant Grove's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Paris, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1.
