Basketball Recap: Monroe Township Comes Up Short at Home Against St. Joseph

Monroe Township unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost to the St. Joseph Falcons at home by a 51-35 margin on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Monroe Township of the 53-46 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

The victory got St. Joseph back to even at 1-1.

Monroe Township will take on Hopewell Valley Central in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Joseph and Montgomery will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
