Basketball Recap: Morgan City Comes Up Short

Morgan City lost against Assumption back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Morgan City Tigers had to suffer through a 49-21 loss at the hands of the Assumption Mustangs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morgan City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Assumption, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing E.D. White the next time they take the court. Assumption will head out to face E.D. White at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Morgan City will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
