Softball Recap: Rancho Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rancho can now relate to. They fell 6-2 to the Basic Wolves on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Rams couldn't push the score so high this time.

Rancho saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annalise Stout, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Rancho's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for Basic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Rancho does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Basic, they will square off against Southeast Career Tech at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
