Softball Recap: Mount St. Dominic Academy's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Mount St. Dominic Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Indian Hills Braves an 11-0 shutout. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by nine runs or more this season.

Mount St. Dominic Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Indian Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount St. Dominic Academy will host Columbia at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Indian Hills, they will welcome Ramsey at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
