Soccer Game Preview: Sharon vs. North Attleborough

The Sharon Eagles will face off against the North Attleborough Rocketeers at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. North Attleborough took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sharon, who comes in off a win.

Sharon's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Taunton with a sharp 6-0 victory. That looming 6-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Sharon yet this season.

Meanwhile, North Attleborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Attleboro. While losing is never fun, North Attleborough can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 176th, while Attleboro are ranked 48th).

North Attleborough's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Sharon, the win got them back to even at 5-5-5.
