Softball Recap: Midland Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Midland had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Highland Rebels 15-4 on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Yianna Durkee, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Addison Rooffener, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Midland will be playing in front of their home fans against Pangburn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will challenge Batesville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
