Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Falls Short of Community Baptist in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Faith Christian Academy can now relate to. They took a 53-37 bruising from the Community Baptist Conqueror on Saturday. The Knights have struggled against the Conqueror recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cory Royston, who posted 12 points and six boards. Those 12 points gave Royston a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiylur Friday, who earned six points and eight rebounds.

Faith Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Community Baptist, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-14.

As of now, neither Faith Christian Academy nor Community Baptist have any future games scheduled.
