Softball Recap: Sinton Comes Up Short

Sinton was the 7-4 winner over Devine when they last played one another back in February of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Sinton Pirates fell just short of the Devine Warhorses by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sinton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Devine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Sinton will be playing in front of their home fans against Clemens at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Clemens will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Sinton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Devine, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Hebbronville on the 27th.
