Perkiomen Valley has gone a perfect 5-0 against Pottsgrove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will square off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Perkiomen Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Methacton 61-7. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Vikings with their most commanding win of the season.

Perkiomen Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Colin Sturges out in front who rushed for 100 yards and three scores on only eight carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Sturges a new career-high. Jimmy Gambone was another key back, gaining 145 total yards and two touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Perkiomen Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 296 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 196 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, while Pottsgrove put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Phoenixville. The Falcons claimed a resounding 27-0 win over the Phantoms. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.
Perkiomen Valley better keep an eye on Kevin Robinson. He was instrumental in Pottsgrove's win, rushing for 62 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. Robinson's longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pottsgrove's defense and their four sacks. Mikhi Dargan was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three himself.
Perkiomen Valley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Pottsgrove, their record is now 4-5.
Perkiomen Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Pottsgrove in their previous meeting back in October of 2019, winning 29-16. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
