Soccer Recap: Silverdale Academy Takes a Loss

Silverdale Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions. Silverdale Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Andrews-Sewanee apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Silverdale Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for St. Andrews-Sewanee, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3-2.

Looking ahead, Silverdale Academy will square off against Collegedale Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Andrews-Sewanee, they will challenge Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
