The Evergreen Valley Cougars will welcome the San Jose Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Evergreen Valley's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

San Jose will have to contend with a Evergreen Valley squad hungry for a win, something the team hasn't seen since December 9. Neither Evergreen Valley nor Yerba Buena could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Cougars have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Evergreen Valley was without their leading scorer, Victor Ashkar, in Friday's contest. With Ashkar sidelined, Joseph Benjamin got his first action of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for San Jose's offense. They fell 2-0 to Gilroy on Friday.

With that draw, Evergreen Valley's record moves to 1-12-2. As for San Jose, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
