Soccer Recap: Glenmora Comes Up Short

Glenmora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 7-4 to the St. Charles Catholic Comets. Even if the Wildcats couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Glenmora's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for St. Charles Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Glenmora will take on Natchitoches Central in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Charles Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Covenant Christian Academy on the 14th.
