Basketball Game Preview: MAST Community Charter Panthers vs. Faith Christian Academy Lions

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the MAST Community Charter Panthers duke it out with the Faith Christian Academy Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday... MAST Community Charter is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, MAST Community Charter beat MAST Charter II 58-52. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Voyagers are ranked 689th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy lost 77-55 to Church Farm on Friday.

MAST Community Charter is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Faith Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

MAST Community Charter was able to grind out a solid win over Faith Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 74-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for MAST Community Charter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
