Basketball Recap: Pioneer Snaps 12-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Pioneer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 35-28 win over the North White Vikings on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, North White still got an impressive performance from Autumn Reif, who posted 13 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Sable George, who had four points and six rebounds.

Pioneer's victory ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7. As for North White, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Pioneer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-32 win against La Porte on the 14th. As for North White, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 35-31 victory against Tri-Township on the 14th.
