Basketball Recap: Potterville Takes a Loss

Potterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Saranac Redhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 65-57 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Potterville's record is now 1-5. As for Saranac, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potterville and St. Patrick will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Saranac will take on Dansville in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Saranac is facing Dansville at the right time seeing as Dansville is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
