Basketball Recap: Cooper City Cowboys vs. Coral Glades Jaguars
Cooper City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 85-49 defeat at the hands of the Coral Glades Jaguars. The Cowboys were probably out for revenge after losing 60-44 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Several Cowboys players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Bryan Jean went supernova for Coral Glades, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 boards gave Jean a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Theophile, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points in addition to five assists and five boards.
Cooper City's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Coral Glades, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-5.
Cooper City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-56 victory against Northeast on the 9th. As for Coral Glades, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 88-63 win against Stoneman Douglas on the 9th.
