Basketball Recap: McKinney Takes a Loss

McKinney and Guyer squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but McKinney had to settle for second. They took a hard 75-60 fall against the Guyer Wildcats. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

McKinney's loss dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Guyer, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 29-7 record this season.

McKinney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Guyer, they will square off against Dallas Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Guyer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
