Baseball Recap: Bald Knob Comes Up Short

Bald Knob lost to Walnut Ridge back in March of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 13-3 to the Bobcats. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beckett Altom made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Bald Knob's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Walnut Ridge, their record is now 16-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bald Knob will take on Cave City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Walnut Ridge, they will square off against Osceola at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Seminoles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
