Glades Day barely beat Boca Raton Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gators put the hurt on the Blazers with a sharp 52-27 victory on Friday. The Gators' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Boca Raton Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joey Weber, who threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns. He has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last six times he's played. Boca Raton Christian's leading receiver Christian Anderson was Weber's top target yet again, picking up 103 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Glades Day's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Boca Raton Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glades Day will square off against Westminster Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Gators' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. After each having a week off, Boca Raton Christian and Geneva will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th.
