Softball Recap: Robinson Comes Up Short

Robinson fell victim to Plant City and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Raiders. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Robinson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddy Satin, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Robinson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Plant City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Robinson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-9 defeat against Riverview on the 15th. As for Plant City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Jefferson on the 15th.
