Baseball Game Preview: Manchester Township Hawks vs. Pinelands Regional Wildcats

For the second straight game, Manchester Township will face off against Pinelands Regional. The Hawks will take on the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Manchester Township lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Pinelands Regional, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's matchup. The Hawks put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 11-3 win on Thursday. That looming 11-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hawks yet this season.

Justyce Garcia was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Colton Sitarik was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Manchester Township has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Pinelands Regional, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.
