Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainfield). They walked away with a 25-13 victory over the Ridge Red Devil on Wednesday. The Cardinals' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Plainfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ridge, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Plainfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 28-8 win against Kent Place on the 2nd. As for Ridge, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Manville at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
