Baseball Recap: Spring Valley Comes Up Short

Spring Valley managed to slip by Lugoff-Elgin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Demons on Thursday, falling 12-3.

Jackson Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Spring Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they now have a winning record of 13-12-1.

Looking ahead, Spring Valley will head out on the road to face off against Chapin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they will challenge Hartsville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
