Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Long Island City Bulldogs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell to Martin 20-16. Long Island City was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Martin apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.

When it comes to explaining why Long Island City lost on Sunday, one person who can't be blamed is Carter Dumas. Despite the final result, he rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Dumas was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 68 yards.

Long Island City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Martin, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Long Island City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Martin also has no future games currently scheduled.
