Basketball Recap: Owen Glynn's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tamarac over Hoosick Falls

If Tamarac was riding high fresh off their 74-18 takedown of Waterford-Halfmoon last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tamarac Bengals fell 54-45 to the Hoosick Falls Panthers on Tuesday. The Bengals have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Bengals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Owen Glynn, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine steals. Tamarac is 9-1 when Glynn posts three or more steals, but 2-5 otherwise. Kamerin Edmonds was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Tamarac's record now sits at 11-6. As for Hoosick Falls, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Tamarac didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-44 defeat against Mechanicville on the 5th. As for Hoosick Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 36-34 loss against Saratoga Central Catholic on the 7th.
