Basketball Recap: Burlingame Find Success

Jefferson came into Friday's game looking for another win against Burlingame, but David Parrot wouldn't allow it. The Burlingame Panthers came out on top against the Jefferson Grizzlies by a score of 62-51 on Friday thanks in part to Parrot, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Burlingame's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Burlingame will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Menlo-Atherton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burlingame is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.4 points per game this season. As for Jefferson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carlmont at 6:00 p.m.
