Soccer Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Loss

Tri-Valley lost against Hiland back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Scotties came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Tri-Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Hiland are ranked 92nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Tri-Valley and nudges their season record down to 6-8-2. As for Hiland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will face off against Coshocton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hiland, they will challenge Central Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
