Baseball Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

Homer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Union City Chargers. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 10-9 to the Chargers when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Homer now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Union City, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homer will head out to take on Leslie at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Union City, they will venture away from home to square off against Stockbridge at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
