Basketball Game Preview: Honeoye Bulldogs vs. Avoca Central Tigers

Honeoye is on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Avoca Central is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Honeoye Bulldogs will host the Avoca Central Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Honeoye knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Avoca Central likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, everything went Honeoye's way against Bloomfield as Honeoye made off with a 76-50 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Avoca Central's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 68-54 to Gananda Central. The contest was a 31-31 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Avoca Central now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Honeoye, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
