Football Recap: Twin Cedars Comes Up Short

Twin Cedars lost against Wayne back in September of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sabers had to suffer through a 70-12 loss at the hands of the Falcons. The Sabers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Twin Cedars' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wayne, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Cedars will take on Montezuma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sabers will be up against the Braves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wayne, they will challenge Melcher-Dallas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
