Softball Recap: Teurlings Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against John Ehret on Saturday, Teurlings Catholic came back down to earth. The Rebels fell just short of the Tioga Indians by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rebels have suffered since March 27th.

Mia Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Teurlings Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 16-18. As for Tioga, their win bumped their record up to 22-8.

While Teurlings Catholic had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Wednesday.
