Basketball Recap: Leadore Mustangs vs. Watersprings
Leadore lost against Watersprings back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Leadore Mustangs were beaten by Watersprings 65-37. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while Watersprings are ranked 29th).

Despite the defeat, Leadore saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Porter Mayo posted 13 points and four steals. Mayo has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Jared Ramsey was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.
