Recap: Jackson Aggies vs. Murphy Panthers
The Jackson Aggies came tearing into Thursday's match with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Murphy with a sharp 62-36 win. Considering Jackson has won nine matches by more than 25 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Tyra Caves, who scored 19 points along with seven assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazmine Jones, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Murphy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
