Choctawhatchee lost to Fort Walton Beach back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Choctawhatchee Indians strolled past the Fort Walton Beach Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 61-46.

Choctawhatchee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Jarboe-Alford, who posted 15 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keymaury Allen, who put up nine points along with seven boards and five assists.

Choctawhatchee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Khamani Leonard, who went 5 of 7 en route to 9 points and six rebounds. Leonard continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Rodric Starks was another key player, going 6 for 9 to rack up 15 points.

Choctawhatchee's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Fort Walton Beach, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-12.

Choctawhatchee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-46 loss against Florida Coastal Prep on the 31st. As for Fort Walton Beach, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-57 defeat against Crestview on the 1st.
