Dieterich and Neoga are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. Dieterich will square off against Neoga at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dieterich will be strutting in after a win while Neoga will be coming in after a loss.

Dieterich's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Brownstown/St. Elmo with a sharp 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Movin Maroons, who have now won three games by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Neoga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to Casey-Westfield.

The win made it two in a row for Dieterich and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Neoga, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Dieterich took their win against Neoga in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dieterich since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
