Reservoir has gone 8-2 against Centennial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The 'Gators will take on the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Reservoir has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Centennial will arrive with three straight wins.

Reservoir fell victim to Howard and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Lions. 'Gators fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Lions since Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Centennial hadn't done well against Marriotts Ridge recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lauren Jensen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2025.

In other batting news, Layla Schroyer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Leider, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Centennial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in three consecutive contests.

Centennial's record is now 3-1. As for Reservoir, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Reservoir's way against Centennial in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Reservoir made off with a 14-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the 'Gators since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
