Oak City Prep needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Amazing Dixon. The Oak City Prep Bears blew past the Lab University Prep Kings 87-66 on Tuesday thanks in part to Dixon, who went 9 for 14 on his way to 21 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kevon Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 21 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 9.6 rebounds per game.

Oak City Prep's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Lab University Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Oak City Prep will host Lab University Prep Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lab University Prep, they will face off against Tournament Opponent on Saturday.
