Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

If Perry was riding high fresh off their 79-42 takedown of North last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Perry Pirates fell 72-64 to the Jefferson Area Falcons on Tuesday. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Jefferson Area, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Perry will challenge Chagrin Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson Area, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Jefferson Area Falcons take on the Geneva Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
