Soccer Recap: Owasso Turns Things Around After Road Loss

Owasso's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Westmoore on Friday. The Rams never let the Charles Page Sandites get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Given Owasso's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Charles Page are ranked 68th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Owasso's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-3. As for Charles Page, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Owasso is set to face off against their familiar foe Mustang at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Charles Page will challenge rival Westmoore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
