Flag Football Recap: Grace Dechant and Lydia Gray Pace Notre Dame Prep Defense

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Notre Dame Prep's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-0 to the Lake Havasu Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Saints' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Notre Dame Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Grace DeChant and Lydia Gray.

Lake Havasu found their leader in sophomore Audrey French, who rushed for 89 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. French got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 85 yards.

Notre Dame Prep now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lake Havasu, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Notre Dame Prep didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 26-0 defeat against Desert Mountain on the 9th. As for Lake Havasu, they will square off against Alhambra at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
