Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Lawndale Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 last Tuesday.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lawndale, their victory ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.

Coming up, Centennial will be playing at home against Firebaugh at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lawndale, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Leuzinger at 5:00 p.m. on April 8.
