Soccer Game Preview: Poca vs. Braxton County

The Poca Dots will face off against the Braxton County Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Poca managed to slip by Calvary Baptist Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Dots lost 4-0 to the Patriots on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Poca's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Braxton County got the win against Tyler on Saturday by a conclusive 4-1. Fans of Braxton County have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Poca has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Braxton County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0.
