Baseball Recap: DeKalb Barons vs. Pendleton Heights Arabians

DeKalb extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 19-6 in the process. They fell 5-0 to the Pendleton Heights Arabians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Arabians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 on Saturday.

As for Pendleton Heights, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games.

For Pendleton Heights' part, Colin Axel-Adams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
