Softball Recap: Ray Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Ray's offense. They came up short against the Carroll Tigers on Thursday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Texans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ray has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Carroll, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Ray does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carroll, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nixon at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th.
