Basketball Recap: Naenae Filitaula Key Part of a Team Effort in Acorns Win

There's no place like home for Oakville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past the Mary M. Knight Owls 46-43. For the Acorns, this counts as revenge for the 35-26 win the Owls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Oakville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Naenae Filitaula, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 12 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolann Black, who posted 12 points and six rebounds.
