Soccer Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Callaway Cavaliers, falling 7-1. Jackson were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Callaway, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jackson will challenge rival Rutland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Callaway is set to face off against their familiar foe Morgan County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
