Football Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short at Home Against Carver + How To Watch

Whitewater unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 51-25 to the Carver Tigers on Friday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Case Roberts, who rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

Looking ahead, Whitewater will look to defend their home field on Friday against Starr's Mill at 7:30 p.m. As for Carver, they will head out on the road to take on Spencer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
