Softball Recap: Pillager Comes Up Short

Pillager was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Menahga Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Pillager saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joslynn Klein, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Sophia Schrom was another, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Pillager's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pillager will take on rival Sebeka at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Menahga is set to challenge their familiar foe Wadena-Deer Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
